Now, we’re not talking about Taco Bell.
We are talking about the real stuff.
The slowly baked burritos of shredded seasoned chicken topped with a special tomato sauce and melted cheeses.
What do you think about it?
Have you ever had a real enchilada topped with green salsa and filled with delicious black beans, various types of beef, and fresh vegetables?
There are a lot of fun and interesting things south or border, which you will definitely enjoy.
Burritos and enchiladas are only a few of them.
The Mexican food we know and buy in America is actually Northern Mexican food.
Things like nachos, burritos, and the dishes we’re mentioning in this post.
If you were to go deeper into Mexico, let’s say to the central and Southern regions you would find a very different type of cooking.
One thing we love about Mexican food and a reason you should love it as well is:
Mexican food is a celebratory type of cuisine.
Burritos and tacos are synonymous with festivals, good times, music, and dance.
And with the summer finally upon us this is the perfect time to break out the Mexican recipes and enjoy a festival type meal at home for no real reason.
Except to enjoy life a bit more.
