1.

Pour your salt into a small Tupperware with a tight lid.

Use the tupperware as the perfect container for your salt.

Try it and watch how quickly you can add the perfect pinch of salt to your food as you cook.

2.

Get some cookie cutters that are different shapes.

Place them on a cookie sheet and fill each one with whipped topping.

Place everything in the freezer and use the frozen sweets in your coffee when you have guests.

We like like heart shapes and stars.

They make for interesting conversations with guests.

3.

If you want to cut potatoes quickly.

Just grab an apple cutter and slice the spuds in a jiffy.

4.

Take a lemon and cut it into thin slices.

Place each slice in a cupcake tin and fill each section with water.

Freeze everything.

Then use the frozen lemon ice the next time you prepare some lemonade or tea.

5.

Get a pot of water boiling, then pour the hot liquid into an ice tray and freeze everything.

The resulting ice cubes will be absolutely clear and astonishing like you got them from an upscale lounge or hotel.

6.

If you have a waffle iron use it to make some quick hash browns.

Just grate a potato quickly and add a handful the grated potatoes directly onto the waffle iron.

Cook the potatoes until they are nice and crispy.

7.

To quickly make a batch of dried fruit.

Just slice the fruit, however you like, and cook the pieces in the oven for 6 hours at 130 degrees.

8.

Buy some sponges and soak them in water.

Place the sponges in the freezer overnight and use them as DIY ice packs for lunch boxes, after placing them in resealable bags.

9.

When you need to cook super-fast look for recipes with minimal ingredients.

Ideally 5 ingredients or less.
